More donations made this Spring!

I am really delighted to say people of Lancing and Worthing have worked hard at filling my boxes with the relevant material.

This month we will see £1,750 paid to the following LOCAL charities, many nominated by you!

£1,000 to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) Lancing District they are the leading children’s charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

£100 to Adur Sea of Lights A fantastic Adur community parade that occurs at the end of November in the village of Lancing.

£100 to the Lancing and Sompting Concert Band 

A concert band for members of the local community around Lancing

£100 to the Dogs Trust at Shoreham By Sea 

Their mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. They never put a well dog down.

£100 to Serv Sussex  SERV Sussex is a UK registered charity that provides night time transportation of blood, blood products and other urgent medical items for NHS Hospitals across Sussex

£100 to Queen Alexandra Hospital Home Supporting physically disabled ex-servicemen and women of the past, present and future. Working in the gaps between healthcare and social services, QAHH offers a range of appropriate solutions for people with physical disabilities and complex needs, many of whom have served this country.

£50 to Paws Animal Sanctuary This charity has been rescuing animals for 30 years.  There aim is to rescue and rehome as many animals in need as they possibly can.  Their volunteers – work tirelessly to this end, last year 850 animals were rehomed.

£50 to the 3rd/5th Lancing Sea Scouts They are based in North Lancing in Sussex and take young people from sic years old to 14 1/2 in three sections, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts.

£50 to Wadars is a leading local animal rescue charity and has been providing care and protection of animals of all kinds, in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or similar causes

£50 to the Nautical Training Corps – TS Intrepid

They offer young people (8 – 18) the opportunity to engage in exciting, challenging, and thought provoking activities.  The cadets regularly enjoy a wide variety of adventurous activities, boating and banding through their award-winning marching band. Through their diverse programme cadets develop their self-confidence, and become responsible and active members of our community.

£50 to Love your Hospital – Children’s Cystic Fibrosis Fund

 Love Your Hospital is the dedicated charity for the three hospitals that make up Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester, Worthing Hospital and Southlands Hospital in Shoreham by Sea.
